Summary

This chapter describes the implementation of a simulator for the MARS V6 environment. The purpose of creating a simulator was to aid in debugging and implementing the reconstruction approach. This simulator allowed to generate simulated scans of simple phantoms with the geometry calculated in the previous chapter. The ability to compare the simulated phantoms and the real-world phantoms with the same geometry allowed for a better understanding and eventual debugging of the proposed reconstruction method.
